The Service Team Lead is responsible for ensure work orders are dispatched, tracked, and accurately completed in a timely manner.


  • Dispatches work orders to technicians in a timely manner.
  • Determines warranty coverage and calculates repair estimates.
  • Provides updates to Service Advisors as necessary.
  • Initiates work orders and enters notes into Dealer Management Software (DMS) system.
  • Tracks and monitors repairs work in progress using the DMS system.
  • Accurately enters technician labor hours into DMS in a timely manner.
  • Assists Service Manager with department management when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Required


  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 - 2 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literacy to include Data Entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)



Preferred


  • 1 2 years of automotive customer service experience
